Admission Criteria	Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery or its equivalent from a recognized medical school that is accepted by the Guyana Medical Council. Plus eligibility for full institutional registration from the Medical Council of Guyana and hold a current license to practice. Plus A minimum of one year post-internship experience preferably with at least one (1) year of General Surgery. Previous urological experience would constitute an advantage but is not mandatory. Plus Good standing with their hospital of employment with no disciplinary actions field AND two letters of recommendation. At least one from a hospital clinical Head of Department AND Candidates that have completed the MMED/DM General Surgery Programme may be eligible for exemption from Years 1 and 2.
